Radiation Safety

Radiation safety training ensures that any hazards associated with radioactive materials or radiation producing devices are minimized, and that all uses of these materials and devices are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Any new personnel using radioactive material in research must become an authorized user of radioactive material.

1. Attend a radiation safety class held by a certified radiation safety officer.
2. Complete specific training on radiation safety procedures.
3. Read the radiation safety manual and other written materials provided.
4. Pass a written exam.
5. Complete a practical examination.

INDY TESTING SOLUTIONS offers classroom training that is compliant with the NRC requirements in the field of industrial radiography.  All participants who pass this course will be provided with a valid certificate of completion.
