Process Piping & Vessels

We inspect process piping systems per API 570 and ASME B31.3, and pressure vessels per API 510. Our services include thickness surveys, weld inspection, CUI (corrosion under insulation) assessment, and injection point monitoring. We understand the degradation mechanisms specific to chemical service — including chloride stress corrosion cracking, caustic embrittlement, and high-temperature hydrogen attack.

Material Verification (PMI)

Material mix-ups in chemical plants can be catastrophic. Our portable XRF analyzers verify alloy composition in seconds, confirming that the right material is installed in the right location. We perform PMI programs per API RP 578 for both new construction and in-service verification.

Reactors & Columns

Inspection of reactor vessels, distillation columns, absorbers, and strippers including internal visual inspection, wall thickness measurements, weld overlay evaluation, and tray/packing support assessment. We coordinate with your process engineering team to focus on known degradation areas.

Corrosion Monitoring Programs

We establish and maintain thickness measurement location (TML) programs for ongoing corrosion monitoring. Data is recorded digitally, trended over time, and compared against previous surveys to calculate corrosion rates, predict remaining life, and optimize inspection intervals.
