From steel erection to bridge fabrication, we provide CWI and NDT services that keep your structural projects on code and on schedule.
Our Certified Welding Inspectors monitor field welding operations during steel erection, verifying joint preparation, fit-up, preheat, interpass temperature, and completed weld quality per AWS D1.1. We inspect complete joint penetration (CJP) and partial joint penetration (PJP) welds using visual, UT shear wave, magnetic particle, and radiographic methods as required by the project specification.
Bridge welding inspection per AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code including fracture-critical member (FCM) inspection, shop fabrication QA, and field erection monitoring. We understand the enhanced requirements for FCM welds and the documentation standards that DOT agencies require.
We provide in-shop inspection services for structural steel fabricators including welder qualification testing, WPS/PQR review, in-process inspection, and final inspection. Our presence in the shop catches issues before they become expensive field repairs.
Inspection of high-strength bolted connections including bolt tension verification, surface condition evaluation, and connection geometry checks. We verify compliance with AISC and RCSC specifications for slip-critical and bearing-type connections.
